中国访民群体庞大，人权灾难沉重。随着社会矛盾的演变和加剧，访民群体的人员类别也不断地充实，有退伍军人、拆迁户、民办教师、警察、法官、检察官、律师、商人、工人、农民， 亦有政府官员，冤案受害者等等。 虽然有冠冕堂皇的信访制度，但官方从未停止过对访民残酷打压和污名化，以使得不了解真相的民间对这个群体充满了歧视。因为经济能力以及法律知识的有限，访民往往不能请律师为其诉讼，同时自己的声音又无处发出。 因冤屈不能得到及时的申张，随着时间的推移，很多访民逐渐成为了“职业上访人”，甚至是以拾荒为生在所不惜。每个访民都是心在滴血，在绝望中寻找希望。 本博客正是应访民的需求所建立，希望能带给访民一线希望； 能将中国访民的冤屈声音传播，以使得国际社会能够听得到看得到； 将中国访民的残酷现状，以专业的角度表现出来，以供有识之士研究； 同时更希望本博客能对中国的法治建设有所推动。
